Darksiders Genesis

I was able to return to the Darksiders franchise to create 5 unique campaign missions and various boss rooms in this action packed co-op title.

My responsibilities included:

  • Concept to final level layouts and compelling mission sequences.

  • Level scripting for set piece moments and gameplay interactions.

  • Encounter design and markup for dynamically bringing creatures into the scene

  • Crafting interesting Puzzle design for 1 player or 2 player co-op.

On Darksiders Genesis, I as the designer had a ton of influence over the flow, pacing and theme of each of the missions I created. Some of the most fun I’ve had in gamedev as part of a small and scrappy indie team.
